I just wanted to let you know that I found the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with on your site! We're getting married July 11.
I signed up for your site sometime Christmas of 2002 and emailed a few random people for a couple months. One day I got an "introducing" email from an intriguing man in Fargo, ND. At the time I was in Minneapolis, MN, about four hours away. His profile caught my eye because he said he liked cuddling. (And, yes, he was telling the truth!)
So, not realizing it was his first day on the site I emailed him. He responded right away and we quickly developed an email friendship and found out that we had attended the same academy for one year. He remembers me a little, I don’t remember him at all.
Anyway, his prayer as he signed up on the site was that if God wanted him to find him a mate, he would just take care of it. And He did!
We arranged to meet a couple weeks after “meeting” on the site, started dating that night and talked on the phone for at least an hour every night since.
A few months later he convinced me to look for a job closer to him and I moved to North Dakota in late July of 2003. He proposed Dec. 5, 2003 and we couldn’t be happier.
At first I felt weird that we met on the Internet but now I tell everybody to spread the word: It works!!
