I can´t tell you how amazed I am. This happened to me??? I would have never guessed. As a matter of fact it was mid to late 2003 when I was giving this computer dating thing up!!! I´ve had enough of the whole dating scene period!! I received a smile from my future wife in November of 2003, so I smiled back and that was the end of that, OR WAS IT! I hadn´t spoken anymore than that smile and continued to give up. I didn´t think that God had made a special person just for me. I believe it was January of 2004 when I felt God strongly urge me to get back on-line. I did it reluctantly. It was later that month when I noticed this beautiful woman who was noticing me. I found that she was looking at my profile more than one time. I decided to write to her. I thought, what could I lose right?? MY WIFE! That special one that God made just for me. My gift. That precious work of art that our wonderful God has created. I´m so happy that I decided to listen to God in that moment. From that moment on, my spiritual walk with the Lord grew daily.

Well let´s see, how did that happen?? Well we spent a couple of months emailing back and forth and soon began to talk on the telephone. She knew very little English and I knew even less Spanish. It was only the grace of God that we were able to communicate. It seemed that we spoke more with our hearts and souls than we did with our words.

Only 4 months after we met online, we met in person. I spent 10 days in Madrid with her and it was truly love at first site. Only because we already knew each others hearts. When we spoke, we spoke very deep. About things that really matter. Not just the typical dating things. Everyday we studied the Bible either by internet and by telephone. It´s wonderful!

Only 3 weeks after I returned, I went back. This time for a month, and to take her home with me. Can you imagine. I know I know it sounds to quickly, but when God is at work who can count time right? Anyway, she did come home to the States with me and we were married in our church in Jacksonville, Florida on July 18th. But not before we both recommitted our lives to Christ the day before by baptism.

I wish I had the time to tell the whole story. It truly is amazing to see God at work.

P.S. I am including a picture of another couple who met on this site. Martin and Margarita Rose Lee. Thanks to God and Margarita we are together today. Because of them, my wife was introduced to ChristianSinglesDating.com. It´s just amazing.
