Dear Wanting to be loved,
I am in a similar situation where I have been alone for a long time and am in need of a relationship. My son is almost 12 and has never had a father and needs one badly. I am praying for a mate and I believe God is in the process now of bringing him. I do get discouraged and feel despondant and tempted to have sex to feel loved too. I will put you on my prayer list and want to know how God anwers all our prayers!

Dear Sister,
Always know that you are beautifully and wonderfully made, and never let anyone tell you other. The antidote for depression is HIGH PRAISE, put on your best Praise tape, and shout the enemy out of your life. Being a woman of God do not lower your standards for anything. What the Lord has placed within you, the Lord will reveal it to Your Mate. I can say this because I am a Full-figured African American Christian Woman, and just as you are doing I have also lost weight, I dropped 3 dress sizes, and I too fell so much better about myself. And that should be one of the reasons we lose weight for ourselves and the Lord for He tells us that above all things He desires for us to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers. So Sister in Christ I prayer for you :
Father in the Name of Jesus I present your daughter to you and I declare that she is strong in the Lord and is continually being strengthen by you supernatural might. Father I bind her will to the will of the Father, and I bind her mind to the Mind of Christ and I bind her emotions to the healing Power of the Holy Spirit. and I crush the spirit of depression and gloom from my sister life, and I declare and decree that she is more than a conqueor and I declare the she will dwell in your secret place and she will continually abide under your shadow for you are her Almighty God. Father , I declare that she will be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving make her request known to You, and your peace which surpasses all understanding, will guard her emotions, her thoughts, her mind, and her passions through Christ Jesus. Now Lord I ask that you wrap my sister in your arms and fill every empty place with your glory, for you are her sufficency, and all that she need is in you. Father strengthen her every time she calls your name,for you have her engrafted in the palm of your hand.

Be encouraged, I think if most of us would be honest who are single we experince some lonely periods but it is at these times that we reach out to Jesus who promised to supply all of our needs.
Sister, cry out to Jesus and ask him to feel the void in you because truly it is only Jesus who can do that. Continue to pray for a mate and that God will help you to overcome any temptation that will take you out of his will. Lord I believe that you have heard our sister's cry because she is honest with how she is feeling and you have promised to answer. Keep looking up and talking to Jesus.

Yes, don't we all want to be loved. Those of us who have been married and lost our companion we are really lonely at times.It does almost seem unbearable at times, dosen't? But if it wasn't for an all loving God,who deeply cares for us, how could we ever make it through these times.Please don't give in to things that are not pleasing to the Lord.I think this has to be the best site there is,so we can share each others burdens. Let us pray for each other and have faith that God will intervene. It is not worth it to give into ungodly things just to fill in a void in our life.

we allwant to be loved, Ive been battleing this myself. and I know exactly how you feel. Ive been to the point that Ive been willing to go out withsomeone who I know was only wanting the sex, I know that is wrong and cant let myself do this. I have found that some help from playing worship music while im sleeping. and Ill be praying for you pray for me also please.
