Don't worry about it at all. People who sometimes feel inadequate feel the need to reveal your faults so that they can feel satisfied in their minds that they are not so bad after all. It gives them satisfaction. Just pray for her and don't allow the enemy to taunt you because of this.

I'm sorry for the pain your going through.

I know it's hard to try to be friendly towards this person. I pray that this unfortunate experience can be resolved in a "Christian manner" Matt. 18

I am sorry that your Pastor didn't suggest that the person follow guidelines in Matt. 18.

I hope you can forgive your friend and the friendship can be restored.

Prayers for God's grace.

I know I don't make friends easily, so all my friends are very precious to me. I've recently experienced a falling out with another woman and I honestly don't know why. There is a situation where she believed I was not doing my job at church and actually went behind my back to correct what she saw as my mistakes without saying a word to me. I knew there was a problem and, in trying to deal with it, guessed something else, which was way off course. As it turns out, I as doing the job correctly. She has since decided she can't deal with me at all. I believe the real issue is why she thought she had to go behind my back to correct me, but she won't even talk to me. I fear it's gotten to the point where I have to hand the whole thing over to the Lord and what ever happens, happens. It hurts to lose a friend. Yet, if she felt the need to correct and couldn't talk to me, was she ever really a friend in the first place? I would ask prayers to resolve this, and grace to be kind if that ever does happen. Any ideas? Asking someone else to become involved will not work. She already got the pastor involved in an attempt to show me what I was doing wrong, which is how I found out about her going behind my back. Involving anyone else right now may only make it worse.
