Hi Nannette,
You are right I should not have gotten roped into a form of debate against my better judgement. I never once got excited, worked up, or emotionally annoyed with any of those jumping on me,,,,,,,,, and I am guilty in this case of button pressing.
I apologise for involving your site, I think I must have had a bad day, but thats no excuse.
I don't usually talk religion or politics to anyone in this kind of a room. Satan caught me out and I played the game
... I would not like to see any of them banned and I am certainly not upset or offended by anything said to me.
I am certainly not anti-American, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are men I hold in the highest esteem and the Constitution is one of the mightiest manuscripts ever written. some of my closest friends are Americans and I work with American engineers and companies on a regular basis,,, ...and I have never been associated with nicer more honest people, more a pity that all Aussies were not like these people. We have solved many a problem with team work and God has opened the way to these folks ...

I have apologized as per above and I will be careful in the channel regarding what I say and will refrain getting involved in conversations that don't lift up Christ.
I have never voted to kick anyone out of a church, nor would I want to see any of these folks banned from CSD.
I must have subconsciously reacted to the 450 page political manifesto that was sent to me to study, of all people I should have been more tolerant and am a bit upset with myself for not showing self control.

This is the person that those of you who know me, know as "snuggie".
For my actions and participations on the night of November 25th, 2005 on CSD Chat,
I apologise to everyone present, and to the site owners.
I have no excuse, and there exists no excuse.
I ask your forgiveness and prayers.
I hope you can forgive me and we can all move on in Christ Jesus.
In the future, no discussions of any topic deemed offensive in any way to any third party or otherwise will occur from me.
If anyone wishes to engage in provocative behavior as it concerns engagement with me, I have three phases of response:
1) Warn you.
2) Set you on Ignore.
3) Inform the system owners if it persists.

WOW. I have only been on this site for a few days, but I just have to say that I am terribly impressed. I just read the “chat room deal” and whoever is keeping an eye on this site, bless you!!!! That is so great.

I am including the apologies anonymously because I feel that the behavior was public, so the apologies should be public as well, so that members can see that most of those involved were sincerely sorry for their behaviors.
This shows that we are all human and make mistakes, but what is important is that we can admit we've made a mistake, ask forgiveness from those who were hurt, and ask God to help us move on and learn from that mistake.
I appreciate these members of our chat room and there sincere willingness to admit they made a mistake and move forward in their walk with God.

Nanette,
...I do apologize for that statement...
...when things escalated I tried to cool everyone off as much as possible. It was a bad scene.
I have done my fare share of debating before and have relized it not to be good for others in chat so I control it to a bare minimum now. And I have been called a few names by others with out retaliating back.
...no more political debate, theological debate or name calling from me.
